Amit Shekhar is an Indian writer and producer. He was born on January 27, 1986, in Siwan, Bihar, India. For his education, he went to Ewing Christian College. Later, he got a diploma in television and film directing from the Digital Film Academy. After that, he started his career as an assistant director with National Geographic. Later, the Discovery Channel contacted him as a script supervisor for one of its series. Since his childhood, he has been a very creative child, so after working with the Discovery Channel, he tried to juggle advertising.
Later, he decided to create his own content, and for that, he found a digital distribution company named Coalia. He is also famous for his documentary-based TV series. Some of his prominent work includes I Shouldn't Be Alive in 2005; Megastructures in 2004; Long Walk to Freedom in 2013; Sanctum in 2011; Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi in 2012; and Love, Lies, and Seeta in 2012.
