He did his graduation at Maharishi Dayanand University. He started his career from Balaji Telefilms Ltd., Amit produced TV shows like Kkusum, Kesar, and Kasturi. Then Amit produced as a freelancer for TV shows like Maayka (2007), Jamunia (2010), movies like ‘I Me Aur Main (2010)’. He also produced reality shows like India’s Got Talent Season 3 and Season 4. He had produced a non-fiction show for BBC named ‘What the Love (2019). For Line Productions India, Amit produced ‘Little Things Season 4’, ‘PFA’, ‘The Pickle Factory’, ‘Brochara Season 2’. Amit produced films like ‘Golkeri (2020)’ and ‘Sharbat (2014)’.
