Rohan Jacob

Rohan Jacob is a multi-talented individual with vast experience across several sectors, including media, entertainment and technology. He completed his master's degree in 2005 with first class honors having graduated with a Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc) from Loyola College, specializing in Television Production. Before that, he graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Communication from Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science, having focused on Photography, Television Production, Design and Editing. This type of education enabled him to provide a strong basis for his multi-dimensional career, which includes digital media specialization, event management, production and marketing.

He is the Founder and CEO of Nokio, Inc and directly reports to the same position. Over this time, he focuses on generating solution-oriented strategies through nurturing ideas in the tech space. In succession, He served as a Marketing Manager for SlingTV for the period May 2022 – December 2023, wherein he was telecommuting and assisting in the development of the brand. Rohan was associated with apple in the position of the Meta Data & Content Specialist where he was working from March 2019 to April 2022. There, he worked on international music content curation, search functionality optimization and personnel training on cultural identifiers during content creation. His earlier positions also seem to play an essential part in the entertainment sector. He was a Director at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times Group) from November 2017 till August 2018 where he led the planning and execution of Gaana Music Festival in the USA which was the first of its kind.

He also co-owned Running Dreamz Productions through which he planned and managed more than 10 events such as concerts, weddings, and business gatherings throughout the localities of USA. Rohan has also been part of important events and shows such as "MasterChef India" while working as Show Runner at Colosseum Media Pvt Ltd. He has worked in various prominent Indian and international television programmes including Zee TV’s “Dance India Dance” and “SaReGaMaPa” as a Runner. In the earlier parts of his career, Rohan was employed by well-known production houses like FremantleMedia and UTV. He localized numerous Indian television versions, including “The X Factor” and “Cash Cab”. He also underwent important internships at Rajiv Menon Productions and Step 24 Productions in filming and advertising, including looking after production and running key campaigns for brands such as Maruti Suzuki and Sathyam Cinemas. His vast characters, experience, knowledge and skills in entertainment production has perpetually made him a hot cake in the whole entertainment industry worldwide.
