Abha Singh is an Indian Activist, Advocate, and producer of many Hindi films. She is working as an advocate in the High Court of Judicature in Bombay. Her father was a gallantry award-winning police officer. Her mother was the unique distinction for being a woman, who attained Post Graduation in 1961 from Allahabad University. She cleared the UPSC exam and joined the Indian Postal Service in Uttar Pradesh. Later she switched to an advocate in the Bombay High Court. She is the author of the book- Dasha aur Disha. This book is a powerful depiction of women's empowerment. This book got praise of many celebs such as Gul Panag and Bhagyashree. She is the founder of an NGO named Rann-Samar.
This NGO is all for helping those people who cannot afford professional lawyers. This NGO works effectively and has led to the construction of toilets in rural areas. This NGO provides education about beautician courses for women convicts of Lucknow Jail and even computer training too for the convicts of Lucknow Jail and Jaunpur Jail. She has won many awards till this time. She got Women Achievers Award in April of 2008, Satabdi Varsh Samman by Bank of Baroda in 2008, and Government Citizen Karamveer Puraskar. She got the Mumbai Mayor's Award and the I Am Woman Award.
