Meenakshi Lekhi

Meenakshi Lekhi is an Indian politician, Advocate, and a social worker. She was born on 30th April 1967 in Delhi, India, to Mr. Bhagwan Khanna and Amarlata Khanna. She is the Minister of State of the External Affairs and Culture of India. She is an MP in Lok Sabha from the Delhi constituency. She is from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier, she was also a lawyer in the Supreme Court of India. She contested elections in 2014 and won. She was re-elected in 2019 by the BJP. She is also the chairman of the public undertakings. Apart from being a politician, she is also a journal writer. She appears in news and debates on awareness regarding social issues. She got married in 1990 and is living a happily married life with her husband, Aman Lekhi.

She even had 3 three children whom she loves a lot. Talking of her educational qualifications, she has a bachelor’s degree from the Hindu College in DU. For her master’s, she went to the Campus Law Centre as a faculty of law in DU. She pursued her law degree in the year 1990. Lekhi has not only been a part of the prominent debates as a politician but is also a great lawyer. She was a part of the drafting of various amendments. After she joined the BJP, she rose to power enormously and is now in a dignified position. As a leader, she has also fought for issues like the women’s rights, intolerance, and even teen talaq. She is an inspirational leader and a motivation for all.
