Asaduddin Owaisi is an Indian politician. He was born on 13 May 1969. His parents are Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi and Najmunnisa Begum. His family is a political family from Hyderabad. He completed his graduation in the field of Arts from Nizam College from Osmania University in Hyderabad. Asaduddin is a barrister by profession, and he studied at Lincoln’s Inn of London. He is married to Farheen Owaisi on 11 December 1996. He belongs to the Hyderabad- based All-India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party.
He made his debut in politics in 1994 in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. In 2014 he was awarded the Sansad Ratna award for his performance in the 15th session of the Indian Parliament. Presently he is elected to the 17th Lok Sabha, which is his 4th term, and he is the leader of All India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen. He is also serving as the Chairman of Hyderabad-based Owaisi Hospital and Research Centre.
