Nowadays, TV channels telecast several talent hunt shows. Lakhs of people participate in these serials in the hope of winning it. However, in spite of becoming the winners, very few can carve a sustainable career for themselves. Kamal Khan is a singer who belongs to this category. He took birth in a small village named Reeth Kheri, Patiala, Punjab, India on April 25, 1989. Kamal's parents' names are Zafar Khan and Sakina Ali. Sakina is an employee of Patiala's health department. His uncle, Shaukat Ali Deewana, started to teach him music from the age of five. Soon, it became Kamal's passion, and he decided to drop from school and devote all his time to it. He started auditioning in singing competitions and shows with the hope of making it big. However, Kamal's dad was against his dreams, and upon his request, Kamal started working in a factory as a daily wage earner. He would earn a measly forty rupees every day. At the conclusion of the month, on the day of his salary, he requested Zafar to collect the money on his behalf which brought tears to his father's eyes, and he realized his mistake. Soon he stopped opposing Kamal and started supporting him in his endeavors. In 2010, he auditioned for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar and managed to impress Vishal and Shekhar who took him in their team. On December 25, 2010, Kamal got maximum votes from the audience and won the show. The finale occurred at the Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai with much fanfare. The makers gifted him a Hero ZMR bike and a Grande MK II car. Kamal continued to stay in touch with the show's mentors Vishal and Shekhar who gave him his first break in the form of Tees Maar Khan's Wallah Re Wallah. Kamal sang the song before the completion of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar. Since then, he has crooned several songs for movies and albums like Haye O Rabba Ishq Na Hove, Pata Nahi Rabb Kehdeyan Rangah Ch Raazi, Ishq Sufiyana, Bottle Bund Vich Paa Ke, Rocking Shocking Family, Akhiyan De Akhiyan Rubaru, and much more. Though he has crooned several tracks in Bollywood, Kamal is much famous down north. Besides winning nominations, he has also won numerous awards like the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in the category of Best Playback Singer, Global Indian Music Awards' Best Music Debut, Zee Cine Awards' Best Playback Singer – Male, and much more.

Arpita Chakraborty is an upcoming Bollywood singer who started making her debut through Hindi films like ‘Satyagraha’ in the year 2013. Then till 2015, she occupied the challenging task of getting the melodious track for movies like “Ragini MMS.” The year 2015 was the most promising year for the singer as she had sung in at least four Hindi movie. Before this, she had sung even in Telugu movies too. She is the only singer who can sing in 16 Indian languages. The singer did not even ignore the Telly world through the song Very Happy Shappy Ishq' song for the TV show "El Ver Ki Ardaas'. The song was speedy and a peppy number for the Star Plus show “Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera”. Her additional tracks in the show were 'Jiya Chale,' 'Tum Mile Dil Khule' and 'Jaadu Hai Tera' etc. Her debut song was "Raske Bhare Tore Naina" was a duet song with Shafqat Amanat Ali & Arpita. Aadesh Shrivastava composed the music. It was a classical song which featured on Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. The song was shot entirely outside the studios. The song was played in the background and the actors Kareena and Ajay just displayed emotions throughout the scene. Very classy number indeed which had the authoritative voice of Shafqat Amanat Ali. Her private album in 2012 was Khol Vora in non-Hindi language. In 2013, another private album collection tilted 'Kihei Bhoire Olopo' which was also a non-Hindi language album. In 2014, her melodious Telugu track 'Manase Pedavina' along with Arijit Singh, The song was from a Telugu movie 'Nee Jathaga Nenundali' which was picturized on Sachin J Joshi and Nazia Hussain. Mithoon composed the music, and the lyrics were by Chandra Bose. T-series released the song of this movie. In 2015, her Rajasthani track was from a movie 'Mero Badloo'. The song had a lyric like this 'Naina Re Boli' which was a sensational dance number, and Goldie Sohel rendered the track with Arpita. In 2015, another album titled 'Phoohar Sanima’ contained a melodious sensational track of Arpita along with singer Aabid Khan for the title song 'Sutal Jawania Jaga Da'. The singer then became busy with many private albums such as "Jhum-Har." This album featured three songs. She had sung songs nearly five tracks in MTV in bhangara, classical, jazz and hip-hop and became famous. She is also popular in Marathi and Hindi language. Who can forget her song in her track 'Lori of Death' from the movie 'Ragini MMS 2' which released in 2014? The lyrics were penned by Manoj Yadav and the music for the song 'Soja Mera Chanda' was beautifully composed by Chirantan Bhatt. T-Series released the music.
