Suman Sarkar

Suman Sarkar originates from a family where music is essential to his family culture. His father, the Late Sri Santosh Kumar Sarkar, was a singer as well as a music teacher, song writer, and artist. He first introduced Suman Sarkar to the control of the tabla. Then, Suman Sarkar went through thorough tutoring with the care of Sri Surhit Chakraborty, a straight follower of Ustad Habibuddin Khan of Ajrara Gharana and Ustad Garni Khan of Delhi Gharana. Suman Sarkar was already a good tabla player when he first acted at a show in Kolkata in the early 1980s.

After that, strict riyaz and actual guide from his Guru helped him build his occupational profession as a tabla player. Suman Sarkar has brought several noted singers, such as Ustad Nishad Khan, Prof Subroto Ray Chawdhary, Dhruv Ghosh, Parth Bose, Laxmi Shankar, and others. He first traveled to Europe in 1992 and acted at the German Indian Society in Darmstadt, Germany. Often, Suman Sarkar has traveled to Europe orderly and worked at vital cities in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Belgium, and Switzerland.

Suman Sarkar was requested many times by the Austrian Cultural Ministry to give speech demonstrations at middle and high schools in Innsbruck, Austria. He has also acted in many shows for the German and French National Radio and TV. In 1995, the first mixture song, Himmel und Erde, was published in Germany, where Suman Sarkar worked with a German Organ player, which made him much more famous in Germany in the pitch of experimental music.

In the song Heaven on Earth, Suman Sarkar has worked with famous Jack Musicians of Germany like Bidi Sibert, Jargan Esel, and Helmat Webar. Suman Sarkar has published many new songs called Dab and Jagal Banda Trio with the famous Jack Pianist Fobian Fioni and Flutist Fobian Began of Belgium, which was mainly admired by the International Critics and News. Suman Sarkar teaches tabla and holds workshops in Brussels, Belgium, and Stuttgart, Germany.

Suman Sarkar is a computer science B. Tech from Jadavpur University in 2015. After that, he completed his MBA in finance and marketing from IIM Bangalore. Suman Sarkar started his casting career in 2018. Suman Sarkar has cast more than 700 candidates across the country. Suman Sarkar mainly threw for Bollywood, Netflix, Amazon Prime Videos, Zee5, etc.
