But, much to everyone’s irony both the kids are making quite a name for themselves. Jessey, since his childhood always showed an affinity towards creativity. He is an excellent drummer and musician, besides his acting. He says in an interview that he does not see himself being a comedian like his dad, mostly because his comedy never really took off, and most his stand-ups bombed. All the awards that Jessey has won have came in serious dramatic roles when he does theatre acting. Jessey, as a child, was diagnosed with cancer, and he uses his earlier life traumas as a motivating factor in his acting,
Hence he loves doing dramas and serious roles more. During his school days, Jessey wanted to give up studying after 12th standard, but his elder sister encouraged him to graduate, Jessey completed his post-graduation from London in HRM. Soon after finishing his PG, Jessey came back to India and had a helping hand in making Punit Malhotra’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein in 2013. After this, he began his career in Bollywood, Jessey appeared in numerous commercials, one of them being with Boman Irani.
