Meghna Naidu was born on 19th September 1980 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. She is an Indian film and Television actress. She started out her career in acting by featuring in a dance video called “Kaliyon Ka Chaman” song. She gained fame as soon as the song hit success, and caught the eye of many directors and producers. She initially started acting in Tamil and Telugu movies and moved into Bollywood eventually. She acted in many south Indian movies like “ Pilla Zamindar”, “Siruthai”, “ 100% Love”, “ Pandurangadu”, “ Vikramarkudu”, “ Jackpot”,“Bhama Kalapam”, “Sathruvu” and many more. She has danced to many item songs in movies. For example in 100% Love she was seen dancing to a mass Telugu item song held during festivities.
The glamorous actress decided to play a somewhat different role that could pass out a message to the audience. Hence she decided to act in the Movie Rivaaz directed by Ashok Nanda. Rivaaz was about prostitution as a part of family tradition that existed in some parts of India even today. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she couldn’t do the role. Meghna was also seen on the small screen recently. She was a part of one of the most popular historical shows running on TV, “ Jodha Akbar”. She played the role of Benazir, a poisonous lady who was sent by the enemy king to kill the mighty king Akbar. Meghna’s was a cameo role in the serial which came to end after a few weeks, but she developed affection towards other cast members and was very sad upon knowing that she won`t be shooting anymore. She also participated in a reality show “Fear factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi” presented by Idea. She also appeared in the video “Dil De Diya Tha”.
