. Maryam was born on 27th September in the year 1984. She was born to a Swedish-Iranian mixed cultural family in the city of Tehran in Iran. Maryam was greatly exposed to Bollywood films and songs from a very young age and that had planted the seeds of desire to be a dancer in her. Maryam had fallen in love with dance after being mesmerized by the colorful and energetic Bollywood dance numbers she used to watch regularly.
Maryam spent her childhood being trained in dance and also did modeling while she was in Sweden. Her love for Bollywood took shape as she founded her dance school in Sweden named ‘The Indisk Dance Studio’. It was the one of a kind dance studio in Sweden that specialized in dance courses dedicated entirely to the Bollywood dance style. Maryam arrived in India in the year 2009 in search her Bollywood dream. Her stay in Mumbai proved fruitful as she had immediately signed up for various modeling projects and advertisements.
