Anshulika Kapoor is an actress and the producer of Red Polka Productions. She currently lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in India. She has given motivational speeches on TedX. During her college days, she studied accounting. Earlier, she worked as a Process Developer at GE Capital International Services till 2005. She has acted in Laapata in 2016, Piu Ka Pen in 2017, and Humble Politician Nograj in 2018.
She has acted and produced a short film, The Good Women, in 2019, directed by Prataya Shah. It revolves around a day in the housewife’s life, set in 1992, and shot in Shantiniketan and Maniktala in Kolkata, India. It throws light on the undertones of the patriarchal society in a dramatised thriller manner. The things wife has to do roaming around on the streets of the city during a curfew with highs and lows, to buy her husband's favorite dish on their anniversary celebration, which he probably doesn’t remember.
This short film has received many appraisals and won many awards including four awards at the Vipra International Film Festival in Kochi, 10th award for Best Film at Ayodhya Film Festival, Best film Audience Choice award at Chicago Southland International Film Festival, Chicago, the USA, Best Suspense Thriller award at Alternative Film Festival, Toronto, Canada, and many more.
