Suneil Anand is the son of veteran Indian actor Dev Anand and actress Kalpana Kartik. He was born in Switzerland on June 30, 1956. He has a sister named ‘Devina’. Famous director Shekhar Kapoor is his cousin. He completed his graduation, majoring in Business Administration and Mass Communication, from American University, Washington D.C. After graduation, he started working in his father’s film production company Navketan Films. Navketan Films have produced many blockbuster films including ‘ Jewel Thief’, a spy thriller released in 1967, ‘ Hum Dono’, released in 1961 where Dev Anand played the lead role; ‘Tere Ghar Ke Samne’, released in 1963 and was a major hit of the year. He started his acting career in 1984 with the Hindi movie ‘Anand Aur Anand’. Some of his other noted films are Car Thief (1986), directed by Sameer Malkan and ‘Main Tere Liye’ (1988), directed by Vijay Anand. In 2011 he launched himself as a director through his film ‘Master’. It is considered to be India’s first movie on martial arts. Suneil is trained in Wing Tsun from Hong Kong and it inspired him to choose martial art as the subject of his first directed film. In 2014, he started directing and acting in a Hollywood movie called ‘Vagator Mixer’. This movie is co-produced by Dev Anand’s production house Navketan Films. Besides acting and directing, he is now the Managing Director of Navketan Films. He will soon be taking over his father’s unfinished scripts and turn them into movies. Sumit, a newcomer in Bollywood, belongs to Rishikesh Uttarakhand, India. Sumit started his acting career from the theater and is presently 25 years old. The actor set his foot in the industry with the movie Warning in the year 2013. The story revolves around five friends who reunite and so for swimming without being aware of sharks. Suniel Shetty, a renowned Bollywood actor, was born in August, 1961 in Mulki, India. His relatives and close friends know him by the name ‘Anna’. He is an actor, producer and a TV presenter. He is well known for his action films. His first film was ‘Balwaan’ which established him as an action hero. He became popular with his film ‘Mohra’ where he played the character of Vishal in this action packed film. Some of his noted films are: Dilwale (1994), an action film, ‘Border’ (1997), a film about the India-Pakistan war in 1971, ‘Hera Pheri’ (2000), a comedy and ‘Dhadkan’ (2000), a romantic drama. He was always seen cast with Akshay Kumar and both were cast in innumerable films which changed the action hero’s image in Hindi cinema. Though he was a Mangalorean, he never made his acting debut in Kannada film. His first success came with Mohra (1994) which was a super hit. He acted in more than 110 films so far.
