Sagar Tugnait

Sagar Tugnait is an actor cum bodybuilder in Delhi. His father is Dr Som Tugnait and his mother is Shalini Tugnait. Som was also a bodybuilder and an Asian and world medallist in bodybuilding, who represented India. Sagar is a dead lifter, coached by his father.

In 2015, he won a silver and a bronze medal at the Delhi State Open Powerlifting Championship. In 2016, he lifted a gold medal at the Fitex Mr India deadlift championship. In 2017, he grabbed two gold medals in the world junior powerlifting championship. He received the gold medal for lifting 300kg in the deadlift. He is the first one in India to lift the 300kg junior raw deadlift. He has also won the gold medal in the junior bench press championship.
