Nikkhil Pitaley was a dropout student of Btech Civil Engineering from MIT Aurangabad and trained in Advance Camera Acting, Dance and Mix Martial Arts (MMA) to fulfill his passion of becoming a movie actor. Nikkhil Pitaley is all set to make a debut as the main actor in an upcoming Hindi movie called ‘Gaalib’ where he is seen playing the role of Gaalib.

His father Afzal Guru was convicted of 2001 Indian Parliament attack and was hanged to death on 9 February 2013. Nikkhil Pitaley acted as the young Dindayal Upadhyay in Deendayal Ek Yug Purush, which is a biography of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya who was the co-founder of Bhartiya Jana Sangh and fore-runner of Bhartiya Janata Party. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay participated in the Indian freedom struggle and was also involved in social work.
