Dr. Anil Rastogi is an Indian television and film actor, scientist and philosopher. He has acted in several plays and is well known for his television role in the second season of ‘Na Bolo Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahaa’ where he plays the grizzled protagonist called Daddu. He has performed over eighty plays several times in many different parts of the country. He has also been featured several times in radio shows. Dr. Anil Rastogi is a man to be requested, as he also Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy degree too.
His television debut was a few years ago with the release of Udaan. He has also acted in several films, latest major one of which is the 2012 box office hit ‘Ishaqzade’. He has also acted in several other movies throughout the years. He was also praised for his acting in ‘Na Bolo Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahaa’ where he portrays a politician.
He has received several awards due to his contributions to theatre and television, including the Sangeet Natak Academy Award of Sangeet Natak Academy in 1984. He is also held in high esteem by the city of Lucknow, and even has a short biography of his published on their site.
