He has a great fan following among women. His looks are such that he has mostly performed roles with gray shades. According to his looks, he got the character who is short tempered, hyper, and arrogant. He just can’t bear any mistake be it professionally or personally. He hates poor people and feels he is superior to all of them.

His superiority complex over poor makes him stand against the choice of his brother, Aastha, who is poor in the show. This generates quite a melodrama, but later he has to agree when Aastha marries his brother. He got this role because his character in ‘Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai’ is still remembered by the audience, and Saksham is quite similar to Kartik. Faizan himself admitted that viewers might find his role parallel to his previous characters. But he further added that his role is more challenging and aggressive.

Lately, he has been missing from the television cinema, but he is doing ramp walks. Also, now and then he is spotted in commercials. Recently, there was a rumour that he might play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s next daily soap, but an official announcement is yet to be made.
