Priyanka Chauhan

Priyanka Chauhan is an Indian model and one of the contestants of the famous television show 'MTV Splitsvilla Season Six.' She was born and raised up in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Since young days, Priyanka Chauhan loved being in front of the audience and decided that she is not going to take up a conventional career. Priyanka enjoyed styling and experimenting with new styles and makeups. She had a desire in modeling but never had any plans to seek a career in that industry.

While she was pursuing her under graduation in Bangalore city, one of her friends asked Priyanka to share her photos to an email address. She later realized that it was for an MTV Splitsvilla audition. The creators liked Priyanka after the preliminary rounds and selected her as one of the twelve contestants of the program. Priyanka came as one of the top six participants before getting eliminated from the show.

The program gave immense popularity for Priyanka and gathered her a few shots to feature in commercials such as Fair and Lovely. She has also performed a ramp walk for Wella, a German hair care company. Priyanka Chauhan wants to break in the stereotypes in the modeling industry and desires to be an inspiration for aspiring models who feel that they are not good enough to feature on ramp walks and shoots because of their body weight and skin color.
