Nikhila Nandgopal

Nikhila Nandgopal is an Indian supermodel who was one of the top 5 finalists at the Femina Miss India 2014 beauty pageant. She was born on 27th January 1996 in Bengaluru. Nikhila has always been a good student and a bit nerdy during her childhood. She has been in four different schools, including the US. But according to her, her best school memories were from Bangalore International School (BIS). BIS encouraged her to follow her dreams and made her what she is today. Nikhila started walking the ramp when she was in 9th grade during her time in BIS.

She was noticed while participating in a summer pageant in one of the city clubs and started her career as a professional model. She was in the top 5 finalists at the Femina Miss India 2014 when she was just 18-years-old. After finishing her schooling (2014), Nikhila pursued a double major in Physics and Business Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the US. This put a brake on her modeling career. Still, she wanted to develop a healthy balance between her career and academic pursuits. Apart from that, her plans include being more on the business side of fashion as she enjoys doing both.

For example, she wants to explore the fields of model management or to promote fashion designers, etc. During her free time, Nikhila likes to sing, travel, play video games, play with her dog, etc. She is also an avid reader. She enjoys reading spy thrillers, religious books, conspiracies, etc. Her favorite author is Dan Brown. She also likes to watch horror movies, with the Resident Evil film series being her favorite.
