She became popular with her acting skills, and in 2004, she landed a meaty role for the serial Kesar that was aired on Star Plus. She continued working in this television serial till 2007. In 2008, she made her Bollywood debut in the movie Rafoo Chakkar and the same year, she appeared in the film Hastey Hastey.

In the year 2011, she got the role of Soumya Diwan in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, a television serial that was telecasted on Life OK. This role is her best work to date. In 2012, she married Karan Mehra, a fellow television actor. In 2013, she participated as a contestant and her husband in the TV dance competition show Nach Baliye season 5.
