Additional lyrics of the legendary song "Allah tero Naam" were written by Ozil. Ozil always found poems fascinating. He understood his huge passion for writing hence, he left engineering and moved to Mumbai to pursue his career as a lyricist. 2012 turned out to be a year of favorable circumstances for Ozil. He met the music composer Amit Trivedi which was a breakthrough for his career. "Tu Mila" and "Pagal Parindey", both songs from the movie The Kerala Story were written by Ozil. He has also written songs for award-winning films- The Blue Mountain, Moh and Diya-The Wonder Girl. Madhubala, Drive, Ganpati, Navratri are some other songs written by Ozil.
