Durgesh Singh

Durgesh Singh was born on 27th November 1987 in Gulzarganj, Uttar Pradesh. He resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Literature from the University of Allahabad. Durgesh Singh did a Master's in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal. He worked as a Senior Copy Editor at The Times Group, Mumbai, from January 2009 to October 2011. His first work was as a Junior Writer for Nilesh Sharma's famous show Yaadon Ka Idiot Box in 2012.

Durgesh Singh worked as a Writer at 92.7 Big FM, Mumbai, from April 2013 to February 2015. He was a Copywriter at Leo Burnett from March 2015 to October 2016. Durgesh Singh was also a Senior Copywriter at DDB Mudra Group from November 2016 to January 2018. He worked as a Creative Supervisor at Publicis Advertising Services from February 2018 to January 2019 and as an Associate Creative Director at Havas Creative Network from February to December 2019.

He again got the opportunity to write for Gullak Seasons 2 and 3, nominated for the Technical Award for Best Dialogue at the Filmfare OTT Awards 2021 and 2022. He is also known for his work in the TV Series Panchayat (2020) as the Lyricist.
