Isha Bhatia Sanan is an anchor and news editor. She hails from Chandigarh, India, and resides in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She completed her Master of Arts at Delhi University, and her field of education is German Studies. She worked as an assistant at Schweizer Radio DRS for a year and parallelly served as a Guest Lecturer at Delhi University. In 2010, Isha Bhatia Sanan completed her Master's in Journalism at Deutsche Welle Academy. She then moved to Germany and worked for Deutsche Welle, a German public international broadcaster.
Isha Bhatia joined as an editor on a contract, but within two years, she got promoted as the Deputy Head for the Hindi division of the channel. She has been associated with Deutsche Welle for more than ten years and currently serves as their senior editor. Isha Bhatia Sanan hosts the show 'Manthan,' one of Deutsche Welle's first television series in Hindi that aired on Doordarshan in India. The show primarily focuses on science and technology. Isha Bhatia can speak Hindi, German and English fluently.
