Tagore Almeida, born in the coastal state of Goa, India, on 7 October 1968, is a filmmaker and script supervisor. He pursued his full-time higher education in Computer Science and part-time in Filmmaking in London, England. His father, Romeo, was a Journalist, who passed away in 2016, while his mother, Zelia, worked at the police department. He also has a younger sister named Connie, who lives in Goa. He’s currently residing in Singapore with his wife, Alia, and also has a daughter whose name is Tania. He formed a group called The Uncultured Company world, One Faith, One Race. One Color, Just A Different Face. He’s written more than 200 poems that are published online.
He’s written featured films, produced in India. He’s also written, directed, and produced short films that have reached international audiences worldwide. His short film “Uss Din” got listed amongst the top 10 short films made by a person of Indian origin by The Times Of India, and it was released on India’s largest short film platform Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films. His other short film, ‘A God Of Sinners’, which he wrote, produced, and directed, was showcased and screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
