He is based in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Born on May 16, 1988, Jukalker grew up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He graduated from the University of Mumbai. The talented designer initially started working as a designer of wedding silhouettes and red carpet trousseau. He also worked as a designer at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Jukalker loves Indian textiles and advocates for sustainable fashion. His mother was a true inspiration for him as he saw her sewing clothes for him. He once shared in an interview that watching the documentary, ‘The True Cost’ opened his eyes, inspiring him to shift his designs into cotton textiles. His fashion lines are more centred around ethnic-inspired designs. Jukalker customised his clothing line, ‘All About Ishq’ with an Indo-western twist. His other range ‘Ikat Pocket Sarees’ was a hit among his clients.

He collaborated with the Telangana Government on the project, ‘TWEAVE’ to revive the dying art of the state. His other collection, ‘Narayanpet and Mangalagiri’ includes a bit of embellishment. Jukalkar managed to style some of the popular artists from the South Indian film industry. His close friend, Samantha Ruth Prabhu carried his designs effortlessly on some of the big occasions.
