Anupamaa Dayal

Anupamaa Dayal is a Delhi-based Indian fashion designer known worldwide for her label Anupamaa which was launched in the year 2004. Since then, she has been an active participant at various fashion-based events in India as well as outside of India. She believes in her philosophy of achieving an International appearance with an Indian soul.

Her style focuses on bringing together nature, modernism, and history with extensive use of needlework and Ancient hand printing. Her label has showcased at the Rosemount Australia Fashion Week and has received a great response from Paris. Her Autumn/Winter collection of 2008, was declared as ‘easily the prettiest,’ by Vogue UK, and 'London's new best friend'.

 Her brand is available in stores across Europe, South East, the US, Middle East, and Australia. Anupamaa is available in 21 countries across the globe. Belinda Seper, the legendary fashion retailer of Australia, has appreciated Anupamaa’s work by saying that her label Anupamaa has the soul of India. According to Anupamaa Dayal, Anupamaa is about ‘happy clothes and happy homes for happy women.’

Her vision is to make her label a global voice for beautiful Indian handicrafts. In 2011, she received the designer of the year Award by Cosmopolitan fun fearless female awards and was voted as outstanding by style.com and ELLE US.
