In the year 2006, he was the production assistant in the film Dhadkanein. He has won the Filmfare award for Best Editor, for the movie Khoon Bhari Maang, in the year 1989. For the movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, he won the Technical Award for Best Editing in the Filmfare Awards, the Screen Awards, and The International Indian Film Academy Awards or the IIFA, all of them in the same year 2001. In the year 1996, he had won the Filmfare award for best editing for the film Karan Arjun.
