Udai Singh Pawar

Udai Singh Pawar is a renowned filmmaker, screenwriter, assistant director, and actor. He was born in 1982 to an entrepreneur and co-founder of NIIT Limited, Rajendra Singh Pawar. Udai grew up in Delhi and went to Delhi Public School, RK Puram, to complete his early education. He got selected for the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, through JEE exam for a five-year integrated program of master in Physics. During his course, Udai Singh Pawar also completed an internship at MIT Media Lab, a research laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston. Later, he also joined ARRI Group, a manufacturer of Motion Picture based in Munich, from where his interest in cinema increased.

After completing his studies, Udai Singh Pawar began working as an Assistant Researcher at Microsoft Research, Bangalore, in 2005. In 2008, he travelled around the world for 13 months, and on his return in 2019, Udai worked in the General Elections 2009 for Member of Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia as a campaign aide.
