Sumit Kumar is an Indian director who has directed several Bollywood movies. Besides being an amazing director, Sumit has also worked as a producer, additional crew member, production manager, and soundtrack artist. Sumit started his career in 1999 as an assistant director in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. In 2001 he got a special thankful note for his work in the film The Warrior. In 2002 he was the chief assistant director of the film Desh Devi. In the same year, Sumit worked in the short film The Sheep Thief. In 2004 he worked as a post-production supervisor in the film, The King of Bollywood.
In the following year he worked a supervising director in the film Naina, as a supervising producer in the movie Hanuman, and as an executive producer in the film
