Abhimanyu Chauhan is an Indian director best known for directing his film Daddy's Daughter (2018) a movie based on the life of a teenage girl and popular TV series. He was born on September 19, 1978, in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, India. Abhimanyu attended Lucknow University. He is married to Sonika Singh and has two children. After college, he travelled to Mumbai and worked as an assistant production manager on the Hindi feature film Gadar ek Prem katha. Abhimanyu thereafter joins Balaji Telefilms as an assistant director.
His career continued with the direction of TV shows such as Simply Sapney, Punar Vivah (Season 1 & 2), Left Right Left (Season 2), Ek Muthhi Aasmaan, Hamari Sister Didi, Swim Team, and others. Abhimanyu Chauhan founded his own production company, Fire Thoughts Creation, in 2016. He is now working on feature film projects such as Kangna, Daddy's Daughter 2, and Daddy's Daughter 3.
