Rajni Basumatary is an Indian writer, director, producer, and actress. Rajni was born in Rangapara, Assam. Her parents have nine children, and she is the youngest. She did her schooling and junior college in her hometown, Rangapara. Then moved to Guwahati for higher studies, where she studied Assamese Literature in Handique Girls’ College. After her graduation, she did Diploma in International Airlines and Travel Management from Guwahati Institute of Management.
