Prateek Vats is an extremely talented director, writer and producer, who is specialized in making some of the most artistic and beautifully directed short films and documentaries. He got graduated from Delhi University, and it was during his graduation he developed an affinity towards filmmaking. He used to write plays and short stories and even started to learn camerawork in order to improve his direction skills. After graduating, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India and graduated with a diploma in filmmaking. He has gone on to direct and make some of the best ad campaigns and commercials for brands like Motorola, Lenovo and many other brands.
Some of his amazing short films have been subject to many international awards too. Some of them are ’15 Aug Dukaan Band Rahegi’, and Kasbe Ka Cinema Manager. Prateek also worked as an assistant director in 2015’s controversial yet funny picture Hunterr. In 2019, he made his debut as a writer and director with Eeb Allay Ooo! As strange the title is, so was the movie itself, as it was based on Delhi’s monkey-repeller, people who are specifically hired to repel monkeys away from residential areas.
