Minhaj Abdullah

Minhaj Abdullah is a Hindi director from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is the H.O.D. for filmmaking and animation, a 3D animator, scriptwriter, educator, and film director. He studied at the Nalanda Public School from 1998 to 2005, he did his bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in computer science from 2006 to 2009, he did his master’s degree in computer science, 3D animation, visual effects, motion graphics from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India from April 2012 to April 2014. He has worked for MNCs like P&G, Crompton Greaves, Eicher, L&T, etc. He has written and directed over 200 short films, documentaries, web series, and corporate Avs. He has been awarded several times for his creative works.

The list of his awards includes the Asifa award, Manthan award, NEXgTV, Moto Spotlight award, Gateway 13 award, and Edward Germany. He has also screened in the Mumbai International Film Festival, Rajasthan Film Festival, CINEBEES Bangalore, NDTV Prime, PocketFilms, CINEPHONE Spain, and many more. He was honored with the esteemed Golden Pixels Award for his exceptional contributions to animation teaching. He has earned fine skills in software likem3ds Max, after effects, cinema 4D, corelDRAW graphics suite, illustrator, keyshot, maya, mudbox, nuke, photoshop, ZBrush, premiere, PFTrack, realflow, audition, Vegas pro, and Blackmagic design fusion. At Jagran Lake City University, he serves as a program leader and assistant professor managing degrees in films, animation, and design. He was also an H.O.D of film and animation at Virtual Voyage College of Media and Entertainment, and a Sr. faculty at I- Nurture Education Pvt Ltd.

He has also published papers in reputable journals and presented various research at international and national conferences. He has also been involved as a co-writer for an NCERT book. Throughout his academic journey, he has taught 2D Illustration and animation, 3D animation and dynamics, motion graphics for media, game design, AR VR concepts, and visual effects techniques for films. He works as an assistant professor in UPES, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India form November 2022, he is also senior vice president and chief technical advisor for Happiest Minds Technologies, he worked for Jagran Lake city University as an assistant professor from August 2019, senior Trainer for film and animation from March 2014, and senior Faculty from June 2016 to March 2020.

He is working as an animation design head and visual content creator for Madboxx Media Studio from January 2013. He also worked as a corporate AV maker from August 2012 and 3D production head for The Boxx Studios from April 2013. He was the international 3D design teacher for The Learnables from January 2011 to April 2023, and 3D animation trainer for Frameboxx animation and visual effects from January 2007.
