Bhuwan K.C. is a Nepali actor, director, singer and producer who has worked extensively in the Nepali film industry. He was born on 7th September, 1956 in Nepal. His wife’s name is Jiya K.C. He has three sons named Anmol K.C., Vivek K.C. and Sugam Pandey K.C. He had started his career at just the age of 10, working as a singer for Radio Nepal. His debut film is Juni (1983). He is said to be one of the most influential personalities in the history of Nepalese cinema. He is also a politician, a member of the Nepali Congress.
He is the chairman of Nepal’s Film Development Board, a body controlled by the government that is responsible for the development and promotion of the motion picture industry of Nepal. He is known for his works in Samjhana (1983), Kusume Rumal (1985), Dreams (2016), Duniya (2006) and Ma Timi Bina Marihalchu (2008).
