Anand Kumar is a prominent Bollywood director, producer, editor and screenplay writer. He was born on December 10th 1970. He had worked as a movie director and screenplay writer for his famous movies like the Mission is On, Zila Ghaziabad, and Delhi Heights. These movies did a remarkable job in the box office collection. He was born and brought up in Delhi. He had done his schooling at DTEA school, which is located in the Lodhi Estate.

He did his graduation in Mass Communication in Hyderabad. After his success as a director, Anand thought of setting up a production house as his home banner. Anand Kumar is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer. He was born on December 10th, 1970, in Delhi, India. His father’s name is R. Rajappan, and his mother's name is Shanta Raju. His father was a lawyer practicing in the Delhi High Court. He was born into a Malayali household but was brought up entirely in Delhi. He finished his school education at DTEA Senior Secondary School in Lodhi East, New Delhi. He did not complete his college education and was a dropout. Before debuting in feature films, he worked in ad films, music videos, and also documentaries. He debuted as a director with the film "Qatil Nigahen" in 1999, in which he was credited as R. Anand Kumar. In 2007, he wrote and directed "Delhi Heights." starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Neha Dhupia.

This film is also where musician Rabbi Shergill made his debut. After that, he also went on to direct movies such as "Jugaad" in 2009 and "Zilla Ghaziabad" in 2013. Zilla Ghaziabad was based on the gang wars that happened in Ghaziabad between two groups during the 80s and 90s. The film starred Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, and Vivek Oberoi. In 2014, he introduced his very own production house, "Anand Kumar Productions Private Limited." "Desi Kattey,” released in the year 2014, was the first movie of the production house. Anand Kumar also directed the film.

The movie starred Sunil Shetty, Jay Bhanushali, and Sasha Agha. Rather than films, his production house is also involved with producing video content for television, social media, and corporate promotions. They are also involved in discovering major hidden artists in theater and television. The production house is currently planning to develop a Bio-Pic based on the life story of footballer Bhaichung Bhutia. He is married to Neeta Menon, and the couple has two children.
