Richard David Tholoor, is an internationally acclaimed Salsa Dancer. He has been serving the industry for the last 15 years. He was the first Indian to be qualified for the ‘World Salsa Championship’ in 2007. He got his name, recorded in ‘Limca Book of World Records’ by making 127 Partnered Dance Spins in a minute in 2012. He was the finalist of ‘India's Got Talent’ in 2009 and ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’. He learnt Latin American dances from abroad and decided to take up dance as a career. He is the co-founder of, ‘The Richard David Tholoor Dance Project’ which he founded with his mother, ‘ Diana Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in 2011. A number of dances like Salsa, Hip Hop, Jive, and Rock and Roll are taught here. He also offers free dance classes to children, who cannot afford it. His mother Diana has a theatre background and has worked with disabled children for their betterment. Richard has also participated in ‘Singapore International Latin Festival’ 2015 and ‘European & Australian Salsa championship’. He is a well known Choreographer, Instructor, and Performer. Richard Tholoor is an “International Salsa Champion”, “Australian Classic Salsa Champion”, “European Masters Salsa Champion”, and also the first Indian selected for the ‘World Salsa Champion’- 2007. He has also hosted a show on ‘Ted Talks’ which is a well known online show for the emerging talents.
