Prosenjit Kundu is an Indian dancer and choreographer. He was born in France and later shifted to India. He was the one who made dancing styles like popping and street dancing famous. He has been a professional dancer since 1998. Talking about his early life, he shifted to The US when he was 10. Over the years, he grew passionate about hip hop dancing and fell in love with it. When he moved to India, he wanted to make dancing famous but couldn’t do so. Later, he started choreographing college dancers to expose them to street dancing. This challenge became a boon for his career.
His students win shows which makes him even better day by day. He has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in dance and choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He is trained in dance forms like jazz, African, Tap, breaking, hip-hop, and many more. His first TV show was Footloose, where he made street dancing go viral. It was then, that he gained immense popularity. He has even started his revolutionary project named, Kundu Dance Project. He is also known for Underground Dancing. He has won millions of hearts through his fantastic dance moves and new concepts.
