Dhiraj Bakshi

Dhiraj Bakshi is an Indian dancer and a choreographer. He has been a heartthrob from the day one when he started appearing on television, not only that his dance is amazing but his personality has led him to gain all the fame. Dhiraj auditioned for the reality dance show, ‘Dance India Dance’ in the year 2013 for season 4. Dhiraj is also a founder of Split Sole Dance Academy, which he started in the year 2009. He runs online classes too. He has his Youtube channel with 4.9k subscribers. He is professionally trained in several dance forms of Contemporary, Ballet, Hip-hop, Lyrical, Multiple Ballroom styles, Jazz and Jazz Funk. Now, it can be assumed how versatile dancer he is. The energy he radiates while dancing not only makes him inevitable to visualize but also reflects the energy and enthusiasm he has for his passion for dancing. He took his first step towards dancing when he was merely 14 years old. Dhiraj also appeared in another Dance reality show,”Jhalak Dikhlaja”, in season 8. He was partnered with the famous model, Scarlett Wilson. The show was the turning point of his career which took him to greater heights and recognition in the industry.

He has also choreographed for the very well- known American show, ‘ So you think you can Dance’. He marked his presence as a judge in World of dance as well. Along with being an insightful choreographer, a great performer, and innovative dancer, Dhiraj Bakshi is an inspiring teacher. He was invited at PDSP-8 in Mumbai, as a guest faculty member. It is no less a pleasure for Big Dance Family to have allied with such a true artist.

Dhiraj shares a tremendous life journey from being a contestant in DID 4, Leading choreographer in Jhalak Dikhalaja 8 to being a judge in World of Dance (Mumbai). He is nevertheless, an inspiration for many who think that the art like dancing cannot bring you huge success. After all, chasing your big dreams should be the sole purpose in one’s life.
