Arundhati went to the Venkatashwar English Medium School situated in Orissa, where she completed her schooling till tenth. The tenth standard exams came as a challenge for her as she chose between Dance and her studies, but she chose her passion over the studies and took part in Dance India Dance. She also went to Loyola school, Bhubaneshwar, for further studies. She is a brilliant performer, known for her classical dancing. Kathak dance form and Folk dance form, Mayubhanj Chau, salsa, Jazz, and Bollywood are her strong points. She took her professional training from

She changed from a dancer to a choreographer and worked at Terrence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company in 2016. She was also part of the ‘Kamshet Project: A beauty within the beast’ by Terrence Lewis. It promoted Dance theatre and was organized by ‘Paara,’ a Dance company. She did many events throughout the country and gained a lot of praise through it. One such event was the Performance at the ‘Kabbadi World Cup’ in 2016. Arundhati and her team performed at the grand opening of the event. She was also part f the show ‘So you think you can dance’ aired on & TV in 2016. This show proved to be the turning point of her career. With this show, Arundhati aced the nuances of teaching someone the talent she has. It was a whole new experience for her. This show was famous for its unique concept of the stage and street dancers at one performing platform.

In 2021, Arundhati Garnaik, one of the top contestants of the Dance India Dance Season 4, took part in the dance reality show, “Dance Deewane Season 3,” on Colors TV. She performed with the popular dancer cum choreographer
in that show, making the audience and judges go emotional. Their dance performance is based on a small story of a brother and sister who were estranged as their parents divorced. Arundhati Garnaik and Pratik Utekar excelled in the dance and expressions, and they received a standing ovation from the judges. Pratik mentioned Arundhati as his favorite performer, and their chemistry worked out well throughout the sequence.
