Manoj Proton is an Indian dancer and Choreographer. Born on 13th June, he grew up in Dehradun, India. Manoj graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He has been a member of a dance group called D-MANIAX for a long time. Manoj, along with his group, has performed in various reality shows. With the dance show Chak Dhoom Dhoom Team Challenge Season 2, he made his television debut in 2012. D-MANIAX popularity grew after they competed in this show.
Manoj started appearing at various dance competitions like freestyle, hip-hop with his fellow dancers. In 2013, his team participated in India's Dancing Superstar, a reality dance show. Although Manoj's crew did not win the title, it earned a separate fan base for their dance routine. In 2018, Manoj and his brother teamed up under the name Tron Brothers. They entered High Fever Dance Ka Naya Tevar, a show where dancers across India team up in pairs and compete against each other. The duo in 2019 participated in Dance Plus and won the Purple trophy of the season. Parallelly, Manoj has been conducting a lot of dance workshops around his hometown Dehradun and also choreographs for corporate events.Â
