Ravi Kalpana

Ravi Venkateswarlu Kalpana is an Indian International Women Team cricketer. She was born on the 5th of May in the year 1996 in Krishna, Andhra Pradesh. Her father is an auto-rickshaw driver. Kalpana’s parents wanted her to get married early but could not convince her. Kalpana wanted to learn cricket, but due to financial problems and lack of resources, she could not convince her parents easily. Her Coach Srinivas Reddy supported her a lot. Reddy helped her to get permission from her parents too. Kalpana received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nalanda Degree College at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.

Ravi is Right-handed batter and wicket-keeper. She started cricket career at 4000rs from Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association. Kalpana was firstly the part of South Zone division (Under 16), Under 19 team in 2011, India Green Team in the year 2012, and Senior South Zone team in the year 2014. In 2015 Ravi Kalpana made her debut in Indian Women’s Cricket team through a match against Kiwis. Her first International cricket match was on 28 June 2015 against New Zealand. Name of Kalpana's domestic cricket team is Trailblazers. She has overcome many struggled and won in her life. Kalpana only with hard work, made her dreams come alive.
