Sanjay Taneja is a known name in the entertainment industry and is an actor, model and photographer. He is well known for essaying the role of J.P. Chawla in the highly popular Star Plus serial “Kasturi”. Sanjay played the father of the show’s main female protagonist, Kasturi Chawla. The story of this family drama centred on the life of Kasturi who belongs to a middle class family. The main plot focuses on her romantic relationship with a brash, yet highly popular rock star Robbie and the troubles that they go through before finally reuniting. Sanjay Taneja gained popularity for his performance despite being a member of the supporting cast. He has also acted in quite a few other TV serials.

Sanjay has also acted in a few Bollywood films. He was most recently seen in the hit Rani Mukherjee film Mardaani in the role of a corrupt minister. He was also part of the cast in the hugely popular social satire . Apart from being a good actor, Sanjay Taneja has also made a name for himself as a photographer. He is a highly skilled photographer and has done a large number of photo shoots so far in his career. Another feather in his cap is the fact that he has been a model as well and is now using all his experience to help his photography come out even more.
