Rajinder Amarnath Bharadwaj is a prominent Indian Cricketer. He was born in the year 1956, in New Delhi. Rajinder was born in a cricket family. He is the son of the legendary test cricket player, Lala Amarnath, who also happens to be the first captain of Indian test cricket team after our country got independence. His two brothers, Mohinder Amarnath Mohinder Amarnath or Mohinder Amarnath Bahrdwaj in >> Read More... and Surinder Amarnath are also avid cricket players. Mohinder is an analyst of cricket while Surinder was a test player. Rajinder studied History at St. Stephen’s College, in the year 1977, in New Delhi.
After graduating, he started playing first-class cricket within India. Rajinder is a right handed Batsman, and a medium paced Bowler. He has also been a part of English Cricket League. He has mostly played for the Haryana team. He was a key player in the Ranjhi Trophy and Deodhar Trophy, in the 1980s. Rajinder’s love for writing has now made him a journalist. He writes predominantly about Cricket. Recently he has authored his first book about his father, Lala Amarnath, titled as Lala Amarnath- Life and Times.
He is currently working towards his dream of coaching young and vibrant cricket aspirants.
