Maxima Basu is a well-known costume designer from Delhi. Maxima is also an Earth lover and a scuba driver. She also worked for an international film called ‘Echoes’. She later got married to Prashant in Kanpur, in 2016. They met on a film set where Prashant was working as an Art Assistant. She currently lives in Mumbai although she is originally from Delhi. She studied at Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication. She was a costume designer at Bhansali Production andhas been a former costume designer at Aamir Khan Production. She has worked at Recyclewala Films and also had been an Assistant Director at Nirvana Films.


Anju Modi

'Anju Modi' is a critically-acclaimed Indian fashion and costume designer. She started her career in the year 1990 after doing a collection based on embroidery and weaving. She is now one of the founders of the Fashion Design Council of India. Unlike her competitors, Anju has made a fascinating identity in the fashion world by doing ramp shows instead of designing costumes for Bollywood flicks. She is running her flagship now from DLF Emporium Delhi and accredits her own labels called “Anju Modi” and “AM: PM.” Anju never had any formal training or education in Fashion as she developed her skills through her association with the craftsmen and experimenting on the world of couture. She raisedpopularity for bringing back India’s rich essence of Indian crafts. She masters bridal couture creations and her work contemplates the traditional ensembles in a modern look. Anju’s collection, Manikarnika has been showcased in Delhi’s couture week, which made the dhoti pants as Anju Modi’s signature style in 2014. In the same year, her next collection was featured in Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive.  In 2014, she shifted to working in films and her first venture was for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 box-office romantic crime drama film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. She bagged the Best Costume Design Award at the Screen Awards and Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Award for her outstanding work. In 2015, she also designed the costume for the three lead characters in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic historical romance film, Bajirao Mastani, while Maxima Basu designed for the supporting cast. She won the prestigious IIFA, TOIFA, Filmfare, Screen Awards, and Guild Awards.
