Sidhanath Buyao

Sidhanath Buyao creates sound effects and composes music. His father was Ulhas Buyao, known as name Goem Shahir, or Goan Poet. Following his father's death, Sidhanath stepped forward to continue his father's musical heritage. He holds a diploma in Recording Engineering & Music Production. He is in charge of his father's business, Buyao Theatres. This group has released several albums, and their endeavours have brought it notoriety. Sidhanath has won several awards for his outstanding work in sound. Buyao is the composer of the music for Swatantra Goa, the 2010 Republic Day tableau, the religious song album Saibhakti, the music for Konkani Bhasha Mandal's Shani Masti (Good Fun), and the music for the Buyao Rocks Konkani music CD.

He has written songs for the Konkani Zhuzari (Fighter) telefilm, Zagor Konkani film (Folkplay, 2009), Religious Thanks to Jesus music, the album Valley of Colours, Sakshi (Witness) provides background music, the Roddonaka (Don't Cry), Buyao Telefilm an album of love songs in addition to being the music director of the 2013 Konkani film Baga Beach. Furthermore, Sidhanath Buyao composed music for the First World Konkani Cultural Conference in Mangalore, Konkani Rocks, Rain & Shine Gonsalves, Panjim, Goem Soddun Pavlem Ghanttar (Leaving Goa went to the ghats), and Mhuinvalli Manchi's IFFI Musical Night 2009.

His job has led him to distant nations including Florida, the United States, Amersfoort, the Netherlands, and Paris. Also, he has performed at Kalapura and Navelim, both in Goa. Among the honours awarded to him, needs to be mentioned the Goa Government's Home Department's Police Department theme song, for which he created the music and got recognition. He participated at the 13th Biennial Goan Convention at Los Angeles, California, after receiving an encore for his performance in the 11th North American Goan Convention in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Sidhanath Buyao was also recognised at the 5th Global Konkani Music Awards in Mangalore with the Goa State Yuva Srujan Puroskar, Best Music Composer award. The Tiatr Academy of Goa gave him the Best Vocalist award in 2009 and 2010. Sidhanath Buyao, a renowned composer, has expanded his musical repertoire to include religious, love, life philosophy songs. He has composed four Konkani songs and, one Marathi song, and mashups, one Hindi song for Vikram Gaitonde.
