Eddie Avil

Eddie Avil aka Edward Avil was born in Mumbai India. He’s a bass guitarist, musician, lyric writer, screenplay writer, music director, restaurateur and he owns a sound recording office like a studio in Mumbai. He was a participant of 'Greek' a popular rock music troupe during the 1990’s. This group includes “ Luke Kenny Luke Kenny has been the face of music in India for >> Read More... ”,  “Joy Dattagupta”, “Ulysses Veyra”, “Brian Soans” and “Victor D'souza” along with these brothers “Avils.” This music band has been active since a decade.

After getting popularity 'Greek' changed their names as “Pralay”. “Urban Reality” was the first album recorded by these Avil brothers which went on to become a huge success. And also, this album was their first shortlisted nomination for the Grammy awards in 2003. It’s a remarkable achievement for “Avil” brothers. After that in 2007, Eddie began his personal recording studio in Mumbai, named - 'Sounds Good Studios.’ 

After  2012-13, Eddie and his brother proved their mettle in movies such as “Sixteen”, which stars “Wamiqa Gabbi,” “Rohan Mehra,” “Izabelle Leite,” also with “Mehak Manwani.” Then “Ishk” was Eddie’s next project featuring “Ann Mitchai,” and “Rajeev Khandelwal”. He has recently made a music album for a Thai Singer “Ann Mitchai's” named "Live My Life My Way" which is released in the country through the label “Universal Music.”

Eddie also owns a hotel named “The Blue Mariposa” at Mumbai.
