Aditya Balani is a talented musician of Indian origin. He is a composer, singer-songwriter, guitarist, music producer, and educator. He is always looking for new ways to express himself musically and push his creativity's limits. Aditya finished his studies at the Berklee College of Music in the United States in 2010. While there, he was given the Berklee Achievement Scholarship, triumphed in the Kenwood Dennard artist competition, and gave notable performances at the International Folk Music Festival and Guitar Night Showcase. Aditya is deeply committed to music education and believes in the cause, which is why he along with his brother Tarun Balani in 2011, co-founded the Global Music Institute in New Delhi.
Within a short time, the institute has become one of the most renowned music schools in India, offering a global perspective on music education. Aditya has collaborated with several acclaimed artists, including poet Sudeep Sen for the album Kargil – A Triptych (2014) and vocalist/sarangi player Suhail Yusuf Khan for the album Culture Code Landscape under their duo project Adi & Suhail. He also collaborated with Shilpa Rao on Abr e Karam for the film Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain and went on a tour with Hard Rock Cafe throughout India. Aditya's latest EP, Constants and Variables (released in September 2015), showcases his diverse musical influences and features organic songwriting.
