He was born in Anandam Janumala in Mumbai, Maharashtra on January 3, 1970. He is a world-renowned comedian as he has traveled to more than 30 nations and has done about 4000 stand-up shows for over two decades. Jimmy’s family consists of his father Prakash Rao Janumala, his mother Karunamma Janumala, three sisters and two brothers. After the completion of his metric, he started organizing his brother, Johnny Lever’s work. He started learning and observing the distinctions in comedy under his elder brother’s mentorship.

Jimmy then started participating in local festivals and shows by doing mimicry.
