She was born into a musical family where her father, Pt. Nand Kumar Bhatlowande was a renowned tabla player. She joined Kathak Kendra at 16 and learned Kathak under Pt. Birju Maharaj. Being a Kathak artist and choreographer, she had the honor of showcasing her skills in front of famous personalities. These include Shri Rajiv Gandhi, former USSR President Mikhael Gorbachov, and Megawati Sukamoputri, the former President of Indonesia. She is one of the leading artists in Kathak Fraternity and culturally follows the Guru Shishya traditions.

Being an Indian Classical Dancer, she has been invited to main World level organized events in Canada, Singapore, Bahrain, Germany, Italy, and Thailand.
