Vineet Bhatia is an Indian chef, restaurateur. He is an author and also a media personality born on 9 December 1967. He grew up in Mumbai and had an early dream of becoming a pilot since he was growing up with the daily sounds of planes flying into the nearby Juhu Airport. He passed the National Defence Exam but failed to do the same with the required physical test. After this failure, Bhatia turned to cook, inspired by his mother's passion for it. He described his mother as 'an excellent cook with a fantastic imagination.' He finished his graduation in Economics. He was recruited as a trainee by the Oberoi School of Hotel Management. Then he moved around all the parts of the world in different positions. But no one has fulfilled his eagerness for creativity.
In 2004, he established Rasoi, the first restaurant in London and second in Switzerland. Currently, he has 11 restaurants. He appeared as a judge in ' Masterchef ' and Netflix show 'The final Table.' He is the first Indian to receive 2 'Michelin Star ' awards. He has authored two books named 'Rasoi: New Indian kitchen 'and 'My Sweet Kitchen.' Vineet Bhatia has earned an extraordinary reputation as one of the UK's most exciting, creative, and accomplished Indian chefs.
